**Do you use expired medication for yourself?
** For your children?
**Does it make a difference to you if it’s prescription or over the counter?
I’m more inclined to take expired medication for me, but trash my kids’ meds.
If you google “is expired medication safe”, it’s a mixed review so I want the answer that YOU do – not the answer that you think is right! Thanks for your help!

Since I am the “rule breaker” in our family I usually say “it will be fine”. However, my husband is more of the “rule follower” so he says, “it is not worth the risk”. So in our family it depends on who you ask or who is giving out the meds. I actually forget to look at the expiration date most of the time.
